Shuck Whitten Finalizes 2023 Lacrosse Schedule

Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse will play 12 games at Brooks Stadium
CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse head coach Rachel Shuck Whitten has finalized the 2023 spring schedule, which includes 12 home contests on the "Surf Turf". The Chanticleers will play a total of 10 non-conference games in addition to the seven previously announced ASUN games this upcoming season. Nine of Coastal's 10 non-conference games will be played at Brooks Stadium.

Coastal Carolina will open the 2023 season with eight consecutive home matches starting with Presbyterian on Feb. 12. A week later, on Feb. 19 CCU will host Davidson before closing out the month of February with a matchup against Elon on Feb. 26.
The Chanticleers will continue their season-opening home stand as they welcome 4-of-5 first-time opponents to Conway in the month of March. On March 4, the Chants will face VCU before hosting first-time foes Boston University (March 7), Iona (March 12), Harvard (March 14), and Marist (March 17) to wrap up the season-opening home stand.
Coastal will take to the road for the first time of the 2023 season, as the Chants will travel to former conference foe Campbell on March 25. The Chants will kick off ASUN play on the road at Kennesaw State on April 1 before hosting back-to-back conference contests versus Liberty and Delaware State on April 6 and 8, respectively.
CCU will close out the non-conference portion of its schedule on April 12 as the Chanticleers will welcome Vanderbilt to Conway. CCU's next three conference games will be on the road, as head coach Shuck Whitten's squad will take on new women's lacrosse affiliate member Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo, on April 15 prior to heading south to the Sunshine State to face off with both Jacksonville (April 20) and Stetson (April 22).
Coastal will wrap up the eight-game conference slate at home on April 29 against another new full-time member in Queens University out of Charlotte, N.C.
The 2023 ASUN Conference Championship is set for May 4-6 in Jacksonville, Florida.
