No. 9 Seeded Chanticleers to face ULM in SBC Tournament Opener

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference released its 2022 Sun Belt Softball Championship tournament bracket with all 10 seeds set in place for next week's slate of games at Jaguar Field on the campus of South Alabama.
On Tuesday, May 10, the No. 9 seeded Chanticleers will take on the No. 8 seeded ULM Warhawks in the first round of the tournament, with the first pitch slated for 11 a.m. ET.
The two first-round games are single-elimination format with the winner advancing to the second round where they will compete in a double-elimination format. The winner between the Chanticleers and Warhawks will advance to face No. 1 seed Louisiana on Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET.
All 16 tournament games will be nationally broadcast on ESPN+, concluding with the championship game at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 14.
