ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference announced its 2023 women's lacrosse schedule on Friday, with Coastal Carolina slated to open up conference play on the road on April 1. The Chanticleers will host three ASUN games on the "Surf Turf" inside Brooks Stadium.
The Chants will kick off ASUN play on the road at Kennesaw State on April 1 before hosting back-to-back conference contests versus Liberty and Delaware State on April 6 and 8, respectively.
CCU's next three conference games will be on the road, as head coach
Rachel Shuck Whitten's squad will take on new women's lacrosse affiliate member Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, on April 15 prior to heading south to the Sunshine state to face off with both Jacksonville (April 20) and Stetson (April 22).
Coastal will wrap up the eight-game conference slate at home on April 29 against another new full-time member in Queens University out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The 2023 ASUN Conference Championship is set for May 4-6 in Jacksonville, Florida.
This season marks the 11th year of competition in the league with Lindenwood and Queens prepared to make the transition to NCAA Division I and their first seasons as ASUN members.
