Softball Adds Howe to Roster for 2023 Season

Howe completes Green's 2023 roster
CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina softball head coach Kelley Green announced the addition of Izzy Howe to the Chanticleers Roster for the upcoming season on Tuesday Afternoon.
"With Izzy's high spin rate and movement, we expect her to contribute in a big way immediately", Green stated. "She will be able to give a different look to opponents and will frustrate hitters."
Howe, a pitcher from St. Charles, Ill., was a four-year letter winner (softball) at Saint Charles East High School where she was a 4A IHSA State Runner Up in 2019, a 2021 DuKane Conference Champion, and a three-time IHSA Regional Champion (2019, 2021, 2022).
She holds the record for strikeouts in a single season, 273 strikeouts in 139 total innings. Howe recorded a decorated career at Saint Charles East High School which saw her named Kane County All-Area twice, DuKane All-Conference twice, IHSA All-State twice, and in 2022 she was named to the ABN/Courier News Softball All-Area Team by the Chicago Tribune.
