CONWAY, S.C. –  The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team will take on the USC Gamecocks on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. ET in Columbia, S.C.

Chant Talk

• CCU has a 3-7-3, 1-4-2 Sun Belt record this season.
• This will be the last regular-season road contest for the Chants.
• This is the first time in 26 years that head coach Shaun Docking will be unable to lead CCU to a .500 or better conference record.

• The Chants dropped an early goal in the second minute of action when Yutaro Tsukade capitalized off a loose rebound in the six-yard box to make the score 1-0.
• The Mountaineers added to their lead in the 33rd minute when Luke McCormick smashed the ball into the top right corner off an assist from Sergio Ors Navarro.
• The Chants were ultimately outplayed by the strong WVU side which held them to just two shots in the match.

History Against

• CCU has a 10-3-2 all-time record versus South Carolina.
• Their last matchup resulted in a 1-1 tie and Eythor Kjartansson bagged an assist in the contest.
• The Chants will be looking to add to its 5-3-0 road record versus the Gamecocks.
• Half of Coastal's wins have been shutouts and CCU has outscored USC 33-28.
• CCU has met South Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on three occasions and has won twice.
