Softball has 15 Student-Athletes Garner NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

Six Chants had a perfect 4.0 GPA
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Coastal Carolina softball team had 15 student-athletes earn All-America Scholar-Athlete honors by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). To be eligible for this award the student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.50 or better during the 2022-23 academic year.
The players recognized include Ava Brooke Strickland (Special Education), Iyanla De Jesus (Exercise and Sport Science), Livi Payne (Communication), Maddy Jennings (Marketing), Maddie Redman (Interdisciplinary Studies), Mady Volpe (Management), Payton Ebersole (Digital Culture and Design), Rein Whitley (Exercise and Sport Science), and Lucy Goodwin (Biology).
Abbey Montoya (MBA), Jay Wrightsman (Biochemistry), Keirstin Roose (Exercise and Sport Science), Libby Pippin (Communication), Nicolette Picone (Psychology), and Riley Zana (Recreation and Sport Management) also received honors after posting a 4.0-grade point average.
