Women’s Lacrosse Named as an IWLCA Honor Squad

12 Chants named to the IWLCA Honor Roll
NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team was one of 289 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA an IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2022-23 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
CCU had 12 of 941 student-athletes from 96 different institutions on the 2023 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
As a team, the Chanticleers finished with a 3.652 team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year, while Gabrielle Beckett, Kayla Downey, Jordan Gertz, Abi George, Brooke Gottlieb, Claudia Kelly, Monica Manley, Sydney McClure, Avery McIlwaine, Ellie Roser, Avery Snyder, and Hope Steuerwald all finished with a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher for the 2022-23 academic year.
