EUGENE, Ore. – The Chanticleers'
Alexis Glasco recorded an 11th-place finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles on Saturday night at the 2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The rising junior hurdler posted a time of 12.96 (0.5) to place 11th overall and miss out on the finals heat by just over two-tenths of a second.
Glasco reached the semifinals with a time of 12.91 (-0.1) in the first round on Friday. Her first-round time was the fourth-best among collegiate student-athletes trailing Masai Russell (12.74) of Kentucky, Alia Armstrong (12.80) of LSU, and Grace Stark (12.83) of Florida.

Melissa Jefferson finished fifth overall in the Nike Women's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.03 (0.7) in the finals heat.
With her fifth-place showing, Jefferson made Team USA as an alternate for the 2023 World Athletes Championships on August 19-27 at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary.
