CONWAY, S.C. –  The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team will host the Furman Paladins at the CCU Soccer Stadium on Monday, Sept. 11. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET.

Chant Talk

• The Chants return to the CCU Soccer Stadium for one home match before hitting the road to face Georgia Southern on Sept. 15 in their Sun Belt Conference regular-season opener.
• CCU has an even 2-2 record on the season.
• Deryn Armstrong is the front-runner for the Chants, as he leads the team in points (3) while tying in first in goals (1), assists (1), shots (7), shots on goal (4), and game-winning goals (1).
• Christian Cook and Evan Howard are the only other Chants to pick up a goal on the year.

• The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers suffered a 2-0 shutout loss to the College of Charleston Cougars on Tuesday night.
• The Cougars notched their first goal in the 36th and followed up with an insurance goal in the 54th minute to dismiss the Chants.
• CofC led CCU 12-10 in shots and 6-2 in saves.
• Each team picked up three yellow cards on the night.

 History Against

• CCU has a 3-3-1 overall record against Furman.
• The Chants will be looking to pick up their first home win against the Paladins.
• Their first matchup dates back to 1986 when CCU suffered a 2-0 shutout loss.
• Coastal last faced the Paladins in September 2022 when the Chants took a 3-1 win with the help of an assist from Noe Santos.
