CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team travels to Wilmington, N.C. to take on the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in their first true road test of the 2024 spring season. 

On Tuesday, the Chants faced the Francis Marion Patriots at the Stevens Tennis Complex, coming away with a 7-0 sweep in dominating fashion. Seniors Carlos Berna Ruiz and Lucas Wayenburg continued their perfect run of recent form with another doubles victory, while the Chants also swept the Patriots in singles play with wins also coming from Ryuya Ata, Maj Tomac, Guilherme Toresan and Jesus Garcia in straight sets. 

Coastal enters this week's final match with a 1-1 record on the season, losing to UCF 4-1 at home on opening day and the aforementioned win over Francis Marion. 

UNCW comes into the match 0-1 on the season after also losing to UCF in Conway prior to CCU's matchup with the Seahawks. 

CCU vs UNC Wilmington from Wilmington, N.C. is scheduled for a 1 P.M. ET start time.
