STATESBORO, Ga. – A trio of golfers from the Coastal Carolina University men's golf team completed play at the 2024 Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate on Sunday afternoon at the Georgia Southern University Golf Club in Statesboro, Ga.
 
Georgia Southern hosted the event as the Sharkey Individual Collegiate had representatives from 19 different programs across the nation.
 
Owen Kim was the top finisher for the Chanticleers, closing out action tied for 15th with a three-over 219 (72-74-73). Brady Duval finished tied for 41st after carding an 11-over 227 (76-77-74), while Trace McDonald finished tied for 71st with a 25-over 241 (83-80-78).
 
The Chants will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 24, when CCU will host an alumnus match at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. CCU will be back in team action March 9-11 at The Hayt, which will be played at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Verda, Fla.
