CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team is set to face the Elon Phoenix tomorrow afternoon at 1 P.M. ET at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
Last time out, the Chants swept the SCAD-Savannah Bees 7-0 at the Stevens Tennis Complex on Mar. 10. In that meeting, Seniors Guilherme Toresan and Ryuya Ata both secured a singles and doubles win, while sophomore Rivers Cahill claimed his win of the 2024 season, leading the Chants to a much-needed win.
Coastal enters the weekend at 5-7 on the season, looking to build off the momentum obtained from the win over SCAD. Including tomorrow's matchup with Elon, CCU features two non-conference meetings prior to a four-game stretch in Sun Belt Conference play, starting with the Georgia Southern Eagles on Mar. 30 in Conway.
Elon welcomes the Chants following a 4-3 loss to James Madison on Tuesday, dropping their overall record to 8-5. Prior to that loss to the Dukes, Elon had won three straight against East Tennessee State, Fairfield and Presbyterian.
CCU vs. Elon starts tomorrow at 1 P.M. ET from the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center in Elon, N.C.
