CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina softball team is set to face the Appalachian State Mountaineers in a three-game Sun Belt Conference series on April 12-14 at St. John Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Chants shut out the Charleston Southern Buccaneers 10-0 and 7-0 in their doubleheader on Wednesday.
- CCU now has 13 shutouts on the season which ranks them tied for seventh in the NCAA.
- Georgia Hood recorded a team-high six RBI versus the Buccaneers in game one after hitting Coastal's fifth grand slam of the year while adding an RBI double, and a bases-loaded walk.
- Ava Hampton belted two home runs on Wednesday and is now on a three-game home run hitting streak.
- Raelee Brabham picked up her 18th win in the circle which ranks her third in the nation in victories.

- App State has a 15-19 overall record and has gone 3-9 in Sun Belt Conference play.
- After opening conference play with a sweep over Georgia State, the Mountaineers have lost nine straight conference games to No. 19 Texas State, No. 23 Louisiana, and South Alabama.
- Both Grace Barrett and Kayt Houston have earned Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors this season.
- Four Mountaineers are batting above .300 and Kayt Houston leads the team with a .436 batting average and 48 hits on the season.
- Peyton Darnell tops the team with 32 RBIs and eight home runs on the year.
