LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Coastal Carolina softball team had 18 student-athletes named an Easton / National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete for the 2023-24 academic year.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or better during 2023-24.
A total of 8,054 collegiate student-athletes picked up this award, with 2,573 athletes coming from Division I institutions.
Payton Ebersole (Digital Culture & Design), Lucy Goodwin (Biology), Abby Henderson (Management), Maddy Jennings (Marketing), Sydney Montoya (Health Sciences), Livi Payne (Communication), Emma Skovran (Biology), Ava Brooke Strickland (Health Sciences), Ally Wojciechowski (Biology), and Riley Zana (Recreation & Sport Management), earned the accolades after finishing with a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99.
Iyanla De Jesus (MBA), Clara Hudgens (Finance), Hope McDonald (Exercise and Sport Science), Brie Normandin (Biochemistry), Nicolette Picone (Psychology), Libby Pippin (Communication), Keirstin Roose (Exercise and Sport Science), and Jay Wrightsman (Biochemistry) also received honors after posting a 4.0 GPA.
