CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina will face their most formidable SBC opponent to date, albeit on a short week, with a two-game series against Georgia State in Atlanta, Thursday and Friday. Both matches are slated for 6 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. The Chants are coming off a pair of wins at home against Old Dominion, while the Panthers dropped two matches at James Madison last weekend. The Chanticleers will look to start Sun Belt Conference play 5-0 for the eighth time in 10 years as a league member and 6-0 for the fifth time (should they win Thursday night's match).

LEAGUE LEADER: Rita leads the Sun Belt in total blocks (88) and blocks per set (1.57) entering the third weekend of conference play, ranking in the top 10 of NCAA DI players. She ranks third in total blocks and eighth in blocks per set.
DENIED!: Coastal Carolina leads the Sun Belt Conference in blocks per set (2.76) and total blocks (138.0), ranking among the top 20 nationally in both categories (10th total blocks/19th blocks per set).

Emily Fowler and Rita rank third and eighth in the Sun Belt in hitting percentage. Fowler is third with a .380 (131-28-271) percentage, and Rita is eighth at .345 (105-28-223). They are the only set of teammates in the top 10.
DIGGIN' IT: Earnhardt is one dig shy of recording her second 200-dig season and 35 away from surpassing her career-high of 234 as a sophomore. She had 183 in 108 sets played last year and has 199 in 56 sets played this season.
WALLIS DISTRIBUTION: Wallis is making the most of her playing time this season after being a reserve last year. She has played more matches this season (15) than she did as a sophomore (11). Wallis leads the Chants with 5.40 assists per set and has already doubled her number of total kills from a year ago (138-69). She is second on the team in double-doubles with eight.
