CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Coastal Carolina cross country team competed in the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday with the men's team placing 28^th and the women's team placing 29^th.

Freshman Thomas Nitz led the way for the men's team, running the 10k in 32:59.8 and finishing 148^th overall.

Junior Erin McQuitty led the women's team with a time of 22:17.6 in the 6k, also finishing 148^th.
