CONWAY, S.C. — A lead gift from Coastal Carolina University donor David Sage and family will launch the Support Her CCU Women's Athletics Endowment to benefit all Chanticleers female student-athletes.
 
This transformative initiative will provide non-budgeted support to Coastal's 13 women's athletics programs —basketball, beach volleyball, dance, cheerleading, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track and field, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. 
 
The Support Her Endowment is crucial for raising the bar of competitive excellence for CCU women's athletics by providing needed funding in the following areas:

1. High-Impact Facilities
2. Enhanced Student-Athlete Experience
3. Resources For Scholarship

The Sage Family and Chanticleer Athletic Foundation have issued a challenge to all Coastal supporters. For every dollar of public support to the Support Her Endowment, the Sage Family will donate up to $500,000 to the fund. With your dedicated support along with the generous match from the Sage Family, the endowment fund will be well on its way to an initial goal of $750,000 with plans to grow even further in the immediate future.
