CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend for two Sun Belt Conference matches, beginning at Arkansas State on March 22, followed by ULM on March 23. Both matches are set for 10 a.m. ET.
The Chanticleers are 8-4 overall and 3-0 in Sun Belt play, coming off a 5-2 victory over Elon on March 18.
CCU's
Anna Babayan and
Brunelle Kouam lead the Chants, both riding nine-match singles win streaks.
Coastal's success has been fueled by its dominance in doubles play, as the team has secured the doubles point in all nine of its victories this season.
Arkansas State enters Saturday's matchup at 9-5 overall and 2-1 in conference play after picking up Sun Belt wins over ULM and Louisiana.
ULM, which will host Georgia Southern on Friday before facing Coastal on Sunday, owns a 3-6 overall record and has yet to earn a conference win, going 0-3 with losses to Arkansas State, Texas State, and Louisiana.
