Track & Field to Finish Regular Season at Charlotte Invitational

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men and women's track & field team will travel to Charlotte, N.C. this weekend for the Charlotte Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center. The meet will mark the end of the regular season before the Sun Belt Championship May 8-10.
Men's Notes
- Omari Taylor improved on his personal-best mark in the 400 meter hurdles last week at the Tom Jones Invitational, posting a time of 51.91 to rank third in school history. He returns to the event alongside Ryan Poag and Josh Roberts.
- Terrique Webb posted the sixth-longest jump in school history last week at the Tom Jones Invitational at 7.39 meters. He will compete in the long jump once again with teammates Deondre Hardy and Xavier Shirley.
Women's Notes
- Amilia Wise-Sweat improved on her school-record time in the 800 meter with a 2:08.29 last week at the Wake Forest Invitational. She will look to continue her success in the event this weekend.
- Callie Wilson recorded the third-best mark in school history in the pole vault last week at the Tom Jones Invitational at 3.90 meters. She will compete alongside Kynnedy Dennis and Cheyenne Wetch in the event.
