CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina softball team will head to Statesboro, Ga., for a three-game Sun Belt Conference series against the Georgia Southern Eagles on April 4-6.
LOOKING BACK
- The Chanticleers suffered a 4-2 loss to the College of Charleston Cougars on April 1.
- Georgia Hood and Clara Hudgens each recorded multi-hit games in the outing.
- The Cougars rallied late with a four-run sixth inning to complete the comeback win.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Georgia Southern holds a 23-14 overall record and is 7-2 in Sun Belt Conference play.
- The Eagles have won all three of their conference series to date, sweeping the Georgia State Panthers 3-0 and securing 2-1 series wins against App State and Southern Miss.
- Faith Barth leads the team with a .333 batting average, while Valerie Combs and Delanie Thames top the roster with 20 RBIs each.
