BREMERTON, Wash. – The Coastal Carolina men's golf team moved up one spot into 13th place after round two of the NCAA Bremerton Regional, hosted by the University of Washington, at the Gold Mountain Golf Club.
The Chanticleers shot 5-over par 293 on Tuesday and are 28-over with 18 holes remaining.
Sophomore
Jack Lee carded a 2-under 70 in round two and junior
Max Bengtsson fired a 1-under 71. Bengtsson is tied for 40th overall at 5-over, while Lee is tied for 48th at 7-over.
Senior
Trey Crenshaw and freshman
Drew Sykes each shot 4-over 76 during the second round and are tied for 57th at 9-over. Senior
Trace McDonald is 15-over after 36 holes.
Florida sits atop the team standings for the second straight day at 25-under, nine strokes in front of second-place Arizona State. South Carolina (-2), Colorado (+1) and Kansas State (+6) round out the top five, with Charlotte (+7), USF (+8) and Utah (+8) lurking in contention.
The top five teams from the regional advance to the national championship finals in Carlsbad, Calif.
Florida's Matthew Kress is the low individual at 10-under 134.
