CONWAY, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina softball team will travel to Tucson, Ariz., for the Bear Down Fiesta tournament from Feb. 13-15.
U of A will welcome Coastal, Drake, Creighton, and Utah Valley to the three-day event.
Scouting the Opponent
Creighton
- Creighton owns a 2-3 record on the year.
- The Blue Jays kicked off the season with back-to-back wins over Central Arkansas and Sam Houston.
- Tara Vandewater tops the team with a .462 batting average and six RBIs.
- Audrey Gilman leads the pitching staff with a 1.83 ERA, striking out seven over 15.1 innings.
- Head coach Krista Wood enters her fourth season and owns an 88-78 record with the Blue Jays.
Arizona
