Women's Basketball Signs Kamryn Kitchen

CONWAY - Coastal Carolina women's basketball head coach Kevin Pederson has announced the signing of Arizona-transfer Kamryn Kitchen for the 2026-2027 season.

"We are excited to welcome Kamryn and her family to Coastal Carolina!" Pederson said. "We really enjoyed connecting through her high school recruiting process because she has a personality that is infectious and can light up a room.  Kam is an elite scoring guard with a high ceiling that will shine in our aggressive offensive system. Given her ability to score at a high level and her length on defense, we expect her to make an immediate impact!  Our staff is excited to get to work with Kam!"

Kitchen, a 5-9 guard who enters the program as a junior, played at Arizona last season. The Charlotte, N.C. native is the third transfer signed by the Chanticleers for the upcoming season following Grace Lesko and Caroline Mullins.

Kitchen played in 22 games and started four for Arizona last season, averaging 4.4 points and 1.2 assists per game to go along with 16 steals. The highlight of her season was a 16-point, two-steal performance against Kansas on Jan. 20.

Kitchen redshirted her freshman season at Virginia after playing at Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C.
