CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina softball team will continue its road swing as it takes on the Texas State Bobcats for a three-game series on April 24-26.
 
Scouting the Opponent 

• Texas State owns a 31–18 overall record this season.
• The Bobcats sit in third place in the SBC standings with an 11–7 conference record, picking up series wins over ULM, South Alabama, Troy, and Southern Miss.
• Keeling Williams leads the team with a .396 batting average, while Aiyana Coleman paces the squad with 41 RBIs.
• Maddy Azua anchors the pitching staff with a 1.84 ERA, a 21–10 record, and 193 strikeouts.
• Texas State has had seven SBC Player/Pitcher of the Week selections: Aiyana Coleman (1x), Maddy Azua (4x), and Emma Strood (2x).

 History Against 

• Coastal holds a 4–14 all-time record against Texas State.
• The Bobcats hold an 8–2 advantage over the last 10 matchups.
• In recent series history, Texas State leads 4–2. The Chanticleers won in 2019 and 2025, while the Bobcats won in 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2022.
