NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina men's tennis standout Christopher Norlin has been named Sun Belt Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.

The senior delivered a dominant performance at the top of the lineup, earning a 6-2, 6-2 victory over JMU's Esteve Agusti before securing a 6-3, 6-4 win against Georgia State's Gabriele Datei to lead the Chants to a 4-2 team victory.

This marks Norlin's second player of the week honor this season, having previously earned the recognition on March 18. He becomes the first Chant to receive the award twice in a single season since Vuk Velickovic accomplished the feat in 2016 during Coastal's time in the Big South Conference.

Coastal will return to action on April 11, traveling to Orangeburg, S.C., to take on SC State at 2 p.m.
