2022 (Super Senior)

  • Played in 12 games on the season
  • Lined up at quarterback and also on the hands team for onside kickoff return
  • Completed 4-of-6 pass attempts for 53 yards and one touchdown
  • Also rushed 39 times for 94 yards and a score on the ground
  • Completed his lone pass attempt versus Appalachian State (Nov. 3) for a 31-yard touchdown pass
  • Also rushed eight times for 30 yards in the win over the Mountaineers
  • Carried the ball 13 times for 38 yards and a touchdown in the road win at Marshall (Oct. 29)

  • Was 13-of-20 for 85 yards and a touchdown through the air and rushed 153 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in the road win at Georgia Southern

  • Also played in Sun Belt Conference wins over Arkansas State (Oct. 3), Appalachian State (Nov. 21), and Troy (Dec. 19)
  • Saw the field in the FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl versus No. 23 Liberty (Dec. 26)


2019 (Sophomore)

  • Played in 11 of the Chants' 12 games, starting the last six contests of the season
  • Had a streak of 122-straight pass attempts without an interception to start the year
  • Took every snap for the CCU offense at Georgia Southern (Oct. 19) and against Troy (Nov. 2)
  • Was 93-for-142 in passing on the season for 927 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions
  • Led the team with a 65.5 completion percentage on the year (minimum 10 attempts)
  • Completed over 60 percent of his passes in six of the 11 games he played, including a season-high 91 percent of his passes versus Texas State (Nov. 30)
  • Also rushed 109 times for 390 yards and a score
  • Completed a season-long 51-yard pass twice, at ULM (Nov. 23) and against Texas State (Nov. 30)
  • Had a career game in the win over Troy (Nov. 2), going 32-for-45 through the air with 285 yards and one touchdown
  • His 32 pass completions versus the Trojans were the second-most in a single game in CCU history behind only Alex Ross who completed 34 passes at Elon in 2014
  • With his career-high in passing yards versus Troy (Nov. 2), Carpenter became just the ninth quarterback in CCU’s young history to pass for over 1,000 career yards
  • Also rushed 15 times for 46 yards in the conference home win over Troy
  • Also passed for over 100 yards in four-straight games - at UMass (Sept. 21), versus Georgia State (Oct. 12), at Georgia Southern (Oct. 19), and against Troy
  • Toted the ball 23 times for 56 yards and a touchdown in the monsoon at Georgia Southern
  • Was 7-for-8 for 104 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed 12 times for 102 yards in the road win at UMass
  • Along with running back CJ Marable, with his 100-plus rushing yards at UMass he was part of the first Chants’ duo to record 100-plus rushing yards in a single game since 2016 and just the seventh tandem all-time in CCU history
  • Also threw for two touchdowns in the home contest versus Georgia State
  • Connected on 10-of-11 pass attempts for 114 yards and a touchdown in the season finale versus Texas State
  • Earned a spot on the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) for the 2020 spring semester


2018 (Freshman)

  • Played in seven games as a true freshman, starting two contests at Troy (Sept. 29) and versus ULM (Oct. 13)
  • Was twice named the BAM Offensive Player of the Week, coming at Louisiana (Sept. 22) and at Troy (Sept. 29)
  • Was 37-for-55 in passing on the season with five touchdowns and two interceptions
  • Also rushed 57 times for 194 yards on the year
  • Was 2-for-5 through the air and threw his first career touchdown pass in his collegiate debut at South Carolina (Sept. 1)
  • Was a perfect 2-for-2 for 25 yards and a touchdown, and rushed six times for 56 yards on the ground in the road win at Campbell (Sept. 12)
  • Came in late in the game at Louisiana and went 5-for-5 for 82 yards and a touchdown in the win
  • Completed 18-for-22 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown, all season highs, in the start at Troy
  • Also carried the ball 18 times for 24 yards versus the Trojans
  • Rushed for 56 yards on 17 totes and threw for 133 yards on 9-for-19 passing with an interception against ULM (Oct. 13)
  • Ran the ball nine times for 53 yards in the road win at UMass (Oct. 20)
  • Missed the next four games due to an injury before returning in the season finale at South Alabama (Nov. 23), connecting on his one pass attempt for 31 yards and a touchdown
  • A member of the Dean’s List (3.25 GPA or higher) for both the fall 2018 and spring 2019 semesters
  • Enrolled at Coastal in January 2018 and participated in 2018 spring practice

  • As a senior, completed 66 percent of his passes (191-of-315) for 3,053 yards and 42 touchdowns
  • Led the state of Florida in touchdowns thrown while ranking second in 7A in passing yards and fourth overall in the state
  • Added 273 rushes for 1,274 yards and 22 TDs
  • Accounted for 10,463 yards as he threw for 7,047 yards and 83 touchdowns while rushing for 3,416 yards and 54 scores over his four-year career
  • Earned honorable mention Class 7A All-State and first-team all-area honors as a junior
  • Ran for 791 yards and 15 touchdowns while throwing for 1,496 yards and 17 more scores his junior year
