Shawna is in her first year as a volunteer assistant coach at Coastal Carolina University.
The Manchester, N.H. native comes to Coastal with softball coaching experience at Lock Haven University, where she was a student assistant. During her time at Lock Haven the Bald Eagles won the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship.
While at Lock Haven University, she also played first and third base and pitched on the softball team for two years. She transferred to Lock Haven from New Hampshire Technical Institution where she pitched, played third base and was a catcher.
Shawna resides in Myrtle Beach.
