2021 (Senior)

• Played in 38 games, started 37
• Hit her 37th career home run versus Louisiana (5/1) that tied her for fifth all-time in school history.
• Batted .207, had eight home runs (tied her for second on the team), double, triple, and fourth on the team with 24 RBI.
• Batted 2-for-4 with a double at UNCW (4/28)
• Had a three hits in the Georgia State series (4/17-18), but the biggest hit came on Sunday with a game-winner in the top of the seventh for the 8-7 CCU victory.
• Batted 4-for-7, knocked in five runs, scored three runs, and blasted three home runs in the midweek (3/24) split at Charleston Southern
• Went for 1-for-3, including her fourth career triple versus ULM (3/13)
• Went 2-for-3, with a home run, and four RBI in the 11-3 win over East Carolina (2/21)

2020 (Junior) (*Season Ended Early Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic*)

• Came off a knee injury that ended her 2019 season early
• Third on the team with a .333 batting average
• Two home runs and nine RBI.
• Led the Chants with six doubles
• Batted .450 (18-for-40) over the final 14 games of the season. Scored 12 runs, had six doubles, two home runs, and knocked in seven runs in that span.

2019 (Sophomore)

• Earned All-Sun Belt Second Team honors and became the fifth Chant in school history to earn the status of Academic All-American
• Played in and started 52 games in center field
• Had a team-high .327 batting average, a team-high 11 doubles (Tied for 7th in SBC), was second on the team with 13 home runs (2nd in SBC), led the team with a .654 slugging percentage (Led SBC) and 36 RBI
• Had three or more RBI in a game four times, including a season-high four against Boston University on Feb. 9 as she went 3-for-4, a homer, and a double
• Had a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning on March 29 versus ULM that gave CCU a 7-5 come from behind victory
• Jumped into the top 10 of career home runs in school history with her 28th (7th all-time).

2018 (Freshman)

• Sun Belt Player of the Week (Feb. 25)
• Started 47 of her 50 games played
• Moved from the infield to outfield at the beginning of the season due to the Chanticleers injuries in the outfield and was top 10 in the Sun Belt Conference in batting average, home runs, and RBI
• Her .345 batting average was tops for all freshman
• Nine of her 15 homers came in conference play and 15 was second best in the SBC and tied for sixth most in Chanticleer single season history
• Her 39 RBI was also third best in the conference and best among all freshman
• Tops on the Chants squad with 14 multi-hit games, 13 multi-RBI games and had the longest hitting streak of the season of 8 games
• Her first career-hit (home run) occurred in her first career at-bat as a pinch hitter against Iowa State in an 8-0 win.

Sun Valley HS:

• Dean was a three-time All-State, All-District, and All-Conference selection honoree
• During her junior season, Dean hit .457 while having 42 hits
• She recorded nine doubles and 14 RBI and helped the team to a Conference Tournament Championship and advancing to the third round of the state finals
• As a sophomore, she averaged .480 at the plate leading her team to a Regular season and Conference Tournament Championship
• Dean played a pivotal role leading her team to the 3A State Championship during her freshman year while batting .481, recording 51 hits, six doubles, three homers and 39 RBI.

"Courtney exemplifies all facets of our program," Green said. "Her competitiveness and work ethic have propelled her to success on the field and in the classroom. She is very athletic and can play a multitude of positions. We expect Courtney to contribute in both the infield and outfield for us."
