Biography

2021 (Junior)

  • Played in 41 games, started 41 (all at catcher)
  • Led the team and second in the SBC with 11 home runs, led the team with a 1.129 OPS, was third on the team with a .320 batting average, tied for fourth with 21 runs scored, third with 33 hits, tied for fourth with five doubles, tied for first with 29 RBI, tied for third with 71 total bases, first on the team and second in the conference with a .689 slugging percentage, third with 17 walks 
  • Hit .500 (6-for-12) in the three-game series at App State. Hit her 10th and 11th home runs of the season in the doubleheader sweep of the Mountaineers on 5/7.
  • Had six walks in the three-game series versus UTA, where she had an OBP of .700.
  • Hit her second grand slam of the season in game two of a doubleheader versus the College of Charleston (4/13)
  • Beyer batted .667 in the doubleheader sweep at the College of Charleston. 
  • Batted .429 in the series versus Georgia Southern. Hit a game-winning homer on 4/9/21 versus the Eagles. 
  • Went 2-for-3 in game one at Texas State (4/1) including her fifth home run of the season.
  • Batted 2-for-7 in the midweek doubleheader at Charleston Southern when she tallied  her third home run of the season and picked up her first stolen base of the season.
  • Knocked in one of the two Chanticleer runs in the 2-0 win over ULM on 3/14 with her second home run of the season.
  • Tallied a career-high 5 RBI, and her first home run of the season in a 10-9 win vs. Lipscomb (2/27)
    Went 5-fo-10 in four-game series with Lipscomb.

  • Was fourth on the Chants team with a .343 batting average

  • Had a team-best three walks in the 7-0 win versus Seton Hall on Feb. 20

2019 (Freshman)

  • Played in 53 games, started 50 (28 at designated player, 19 at catcher, 2 in right field) batted .243, six homers, and 16 runs batted in two multi-RBI games
  • Had first career hit on Feb. 10 versus UIC with her first of four doubles on the season.

High School

  • She was a three-time, second team All-State catcher for the Cranston West Falcons
  • The Cranston, R. I., native batted .503 for her career with 89 hits, 20 doubles, eight home runs and three triples
  • As a sophomore, Beyer set a Cranston West single-season record for highest batting average record batting (.547) with 35 hits, eight doubles and one homer
  • She helped lead the R.I. Thunder Gold softball team to a 100-win season that culminated with a trip to the USSSA 14U World Series in Orlando, Fla
  • The team finished the year with 100 wins, six losses, and one tie while playing in the 14U, 16U and 18U divisions. Beyer was named the team's offensive MVP for the World Series with a showing that included four home runs

"Mac is an elite level catcher and plays one of the toughest schedules in the country," Green said. "She will hit for power and a high average."
