Coastal Carolina softball has announced the hiring of Blake Schultz as Director of Softball Operations.
Schultz is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University where he completed his degree in 2018 with a bachelor of science in Recreation and Sports Management.
Schultz spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons part of the support staff as a student manager. The Pittsburgh, Pa. native was tasked with the set-up of team practices, game-day operations, responsible for the management of team equipment, coordinating game days activities, assisting in the creation of the travel itinerary, pitching codes, scouting videos, game day scouting activities, and oversaw bullpen sessions.
Schultz graduated from Pine Richland High School (2014) in Gibsonia, Pa. where he played football, basketball, and baseball.
The avid Pittsburgh sports fan loves spending time with friends and family is ready to get to work for the team.
