Greg Smith was an athletic trainer intern at Coastal Carolina. He worked with the softball team on a daily basis this spring after assisting with the football and soccer teams.
Smith earned his Master’s of Science in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training from the University of Arkansas in May of 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science in pre-physical therapy from Lander University in May of 2006.
Smith also played collegiate baseball at Labette Community College in Parsons, Kan. and at Lander, earning All-Conference honors twice at Labette and once for the Bearcats.While with the Razorbacks, Smith served as a student athletic trainer, working with the 2006 SEC Western Division Champion football team, as well as the women’s soccer and men’s track and field teams. During his time in Fayetteville, Smith also assisted at nearby Harber High School in Springdale.Smith is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association, and the Razorback Athletic Trainers Association.
