2018 (Sophomore): Saw action in 14 games between the pitching circle and in as a pinch runner. . . Pitched in 13 games in relief as she tallied a 5.20 ERA, with an 0-1 record in 33.2 innings pitched. . . Pitched a career-high as a Chanticleer with five innings in relief against Georgia State.
Indian River State College: Taylor Schmidt comes to the Chants after spending one season at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Schmidt was dominant on the rubber as she went 11-4 with a 2.70 earned run average and struck out 89 batters in 101 innings of work.
She helped lead Indian River to the Southern Conference -- NJCAA Region 8 title while picking up Indian River First Team All-Conference accolades.
