Wildschutt Earns Fourth Career Sun Belt Runner of the Week Award

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Coastal Carolina men's cross country runner Nadeel Wildschutt picked up his fourth career Sun Belt Runner of the Week award, announced by the conference on Wednesday.Â
The Ceres, South Africa native earned his ninth career victory at the ECU Invitational 8k last Friday as he finished with a personal-best time of 23:21.64. The 2018 Sun Belt Runner of the Year broke his previous personal-best mark in the 8k by 44.16, which was set at last season's 2018 Sun Belt Cross Country Championships.
Wildschutt and the Chanticleers will return to the course on November 2 at the 2019 Sun Belt Cross Country Championships hosted by Georgia State.
