CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team will get the 2019 season underway Friday as the Chanticleers open the University of Virginia Cavalier Classic against Loyola Maryland at 3:30 p.m.
 
Coastal's match against the Greyhounds is the first of three contests for the Chants this weekend. On Saturday, Coastal takes on Furman at 12:30 p.m., before closing out the tournament against Virginia at 6:30 p.m.
 
Live stats will be available for all three matches, and the final match versus Virginia will be streamed on the new ACC Network. In addition to getting all stats and results on GoCCUsports.com, fans can follow along on Twitter, @CoastalVBall, for in-match updates.

Friday, Aug. 30
10 a.m. – Loyola vs. Furman
3:30 p.m. – Coastal Carolina vs. Loyola
6:30 p.m. – Virginia vs. Furman
 
Saturday, Aug. 31
10 a.m. – Virginia vs. Loyola
12:30 p.m. – Furman vs. Coastal Carolina
6:30 p.m. – Virginia vs. Coastal Carolina
 
Following this weekend's action, Teal Nation can get its first look at the 2019 Chants at home during the Coastal Carolina Classic, set for Sept. 6-7 at the HTC Center. ETSU, SMU and South Carolina State will be in town for the tournament, which features a total of six matches over the two days. The full schedule for the Classic can be found HERE.
