A 9-2 run in the final set gave the Chants an 11-7 lead, but ETSU responded by winning five of the next six points toe even the score at 12-12. ETSU reached match point first, but the Chants won the next two points on an ETSU error and Mariia Levanova kill. The set was tied one final time at 15-15 before Nemeth landed her 23rd kill of the match, and Ani Bozdeva assisted on a block with Christina Nance to give Coastal the win.
