CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina University men's basketball team will host its final two regular-season games of the season beginning with Troy coming to the HTC Center Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.

The Chants (13-14/6-10 Sun Belt) are looking to end the season on a winning note with four games remaining. CCU is 3-7 in its last 10 games while Troy (9-18/5-11 Sun Belt) is in a similar run only going 2-8 in its last 10 games.

The game has major importance in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament seeding's, as the top 10 teams make it into postseason play. The Chants enter the weekend tied with Louisiana for ninth place with the Trojans one game behind in 11th.

Troy defeated CCU 77-59 to open Sun Belt play this season back on Dec. 19 and the Trojans own a 5-2 lead in the series. The Trojans have won both games between the two teams in Conway while both of CCU's wins in the series have come at Troy.

Ty Gordon leads four Trojans in double-digit scoring averaging 12.6 points per game. Darian Adams (12.1), Zay Williams (11.1) and Desmond Williams (10.4) help lead a well-balanced scoring attack.

Gordon's 90 assists and 27 steals are team-leading numbers and Zay Williams' 5.5 rebounds are a team-high.

CCU will counter with its 77.7 points per game offense, which is second in the Sun Belt. Sophomore guard
DeVante' Jones continues to be the team-leader averaging 16.3 points per game. He also leads the conference in assists with 143 and his 5.5 assists per game is also the conference-leader.

Tommy Burton continues to show why he is one of the top post players in the conference averaging 11.7 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and almost 78 percent at the free throw line.

Tyrell Gumbs-Frater continues to be one of the top three-point threats in the conference, having recorded 53 treys on the season while averaging 10.4 points per game.

CCU will end the regular-season home schedule Saturday, Feb. 22 when South Alabama comes to Conway for a 2 p.m. matinee. It will also be Senior Day as the 2019-20 CCU Seniors will be honored before the game.
