Men's Golf Back in Action at the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship

The championship will be held at the Mystic Creek Golf Club in Arkansas
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's golf team will be traveling to El Dorado, Ark., for the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship to be played Sunday-Wednesday, April 24-27, at the Mystic Creek Golf Club.
Mystic Creek is laid out over 7,293 yards and will score as a par-72. Georgia Southern will enter the event as the top-ranked team in the Sun Belt as listed by Golfstat.com based on its 285.07 scoring average. The Eagles have three team wins on the season which is tied with Troy for the most team wins by a Sun Belt Conference program this year.
Little Rock is the third Sun Belt program with multiple wins, posting two over the season, and has a 286.89 scoring average, second only to Georgia Southern. The Chanticleers enter the championship with a 293.52 scoring average over their 27 rounds of golf this season.
Head Coach Jim Garren will have a lineup of Seth Taylor, Tyler Gray, Connor Newton, and Garrett Cooper. Trey Crenshaw and Trace McDonald will also make the trip for CCU, with one player playing at No. 5, and the other playing as a substitute due to sickness or injury.
The four-day event will feature all 12 conference teams playing 54 holes with the top four teams playing a semifinal round of match play and a championship match play format on the fourth and final day of action.
