Chants Set for Start of Postseason Play at SBC Championships

CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's indoor track and field team is set for the start of postseason play this week, as the Chants travel to Birmingham, Ala. for the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Feb. 19-20.
The Chants previously featured in the Darius Dixon Invitational in Lynchburg, Va. on the campus of Liberty University. In their trip to Lynchburg, Coastal landed three top-place finishes, two from sophomore Zionna Perez-Tucker and one from junior Amanda Kinloch. CCU currently stands at 13 total first-place finishes for the 2024 indoor season.
This week's championship meet will feature student-athletes from all 14 participating Sun Belt schools across 48 different men's and women's competitions.
The Sun Belt Conference Championships begin tomorrow from Birmingham, Ala., starting with the men's and women's pentathlon at 11:00 A.M. ET.
