The Chants enter the game with a 2-0 record in conference play following its series sweep at Marshall, while ODU is 0-2 after dropping a pair of home matches to Georgia Southern. CCU is 1-2 at home this season and ODU is 1-0 on the road with a win over UMBC. The Chanticleers are 13-3 at home in SBC matches under coach

Jalyn Stout recorded her 40th and 41st career triple-doubles last weekend to become the NCAA's all-time leader. As a sophomore, she reset the organization's single-season mark with 20 after recording 14 as a freshman. She has seven in 13 matches this season.
STOUT ADDED TO AVCA POY WATCH LIST: Stout was one of 17 student-athletes added to the AVCA inaugural watch list for its Division I Player of the Year Award on Thursday. Stout leads the Chanticleers and ranks fourth in the Sun Belt in total points (202) and sixth in points per set (4.04). She also leads Coastal in kills (171) and kills per set (3.42), while ranking second in assists (3.90) and digs (3.32) per set as well as total assists (195) and total digs (166).
TWO-TIME DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Junior
Anna Rita was named the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks on Tuesday. Rita helped pace Coastal to a pair of wins over Marshall to open conference play. She hit .642 (19-1-28) with 19 kills and 14 blocks in the two matches. She posted nine blocks in Friday's three-set sweep, then tallied 11 kills in Saturday's four-set triumph while hitting .615 (11-1-15) with five blocks.
LEAGUE LEADER: Rita leads the Sun Belt in total blocks (79) and blocks per set (1.58) entering the second weekend of conference play, ranking in the top 10 of NCAA DI players. She ranks fourth in total blocks and eighth in blocks per set.
DENIED!: Coastal Carolina leads the Sun Belt Conference in blocks per set (2.76) and total blocks (138.0), ranking among the top 20 nationally in both categories (10th total blocks/19th blocks per set).
KILLER INSTINCT: Juniors
Emily Fowler and
Anna Rita rank third and sixth in the Sun Belt in hitting percentage. Fowler is third with a .381 (117-26 -239) percentage, and Rita is sixth at .360 (95-24-197). They are the only set of teammates in the top 10.
DIGGIN' IT: Senior
Bailee Earnhardt is 16 digs shy of equaling her 2024 season total of 183 in 28 sets. She has played in 20 sets this season.
FIRST SET INDICATOR: Coastal Carolina has captured the first set in nine of its 13 matches and owns a record of 7-2 in those matches. Its two losses came against North Carolina and FIU. The Chanticleers rallied to win after dropping the initial frame against Maryland and Marshall.
