Cross Country Sending 12 to NCAA Southeast Regionals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Coastal Carolina men and women's cross country team travels to Charlottesville, Va. for the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday at Panorama Farms. The women are set to run the 6k at 10 a.m. ET while the men run the 10k at 11 a.m. ET.
Men's Notes

Five freshmen will participate in the meet, including Jacob Barraza, Calvin Dovgalyuk, Owen Mullins, Thomas Nitz, and Braxton Theel.
Nitz finished fourth at the Chanticleer Challenge 8k on Sep. 19 with a time of 24:18.1, while Barraza finished sixth with a time of 24:25.3.
Sterling Sellier will compete in his third regional race, with a personal best time of 33:23.0 in 2023.

Women's Notes

Freshmen Zoe Brandt and Kylie Davis will be making their regional debut.
Sophomore Megan Dolan ran a 24:15.2 in the regional race in 2023.
Juniors Addison Laughlin, Olivia Goeser and Erin McQuitty will also be competing.
Laughlin was named to the All-Sun Belt second team after an eighth-place finish in the Sun Belt Championship 5k, posting a time of 17:33.0.
