2019 All-Sun Belt Second Team

2021 (Senior)

• Played and started all 43 games at second base
• Batted .280, four home runs, had four doubles,14 RBI, led the team with two triples, and was second on the team with 28 runs scored and 21 walks.
• Went 2-for-3 with a triple, and RBI versus ULM at the SBC Tournament (5/10)
• Batted 2-for-2 with a double in the 8-0 over App State on 5/7
• Was on base all four times at UNCW (4/28) and batted 3-for-3, 2 RBI, a double, and a walk. 
• Went 2-for-3 on her senior day versus UTA (4/24) with two home runs versus UTA.
• Batted .500 (3-for-6) in three starts versus GASO (4/9-10). Added her first career triple in the series.
• Picked up a career-best 3 RBI  and tied a career-best with 2 versus East Carolina (2/21)
• Tallied a single in each of the four games of the Lipscomb series (2/26-28) to go along with scoring five runs.
• Had a season-high five game hitting streak snapped versus Illinois State on 3/7.

• Played in 20 games, started 20 (all at second base)
• Batted .224 with a double, three home runs and nine RBI
• Had a career-high four RBI and her first career grand slam in a 15-2 win versus Northern Illinois on Feb. 15
• Three multi-hit games (Feb. 7 v. Virginia Tech, Feb. 28 v. Ohio and Mar. 1 v. USC Upstate)
• Two multi-RBI games (Feb. 15 v. Northern Illinois and Feb. 28 v. Ohio)

• At the time of a season-ending injury, Sweigart was the second leading hitter on the Chants squad with a .315 batting average
• Led the team with eight stolen bases
• Second on the team with a .431 on-base percentage
• Six home runs

• Connected with her first and second career home runs in back-to-back games of a double-header wins against her sister, Sam and the  Lafayette Leopards on Feb. 15 and 16
• Scored her first career run on Feb. 10 versus Iowa State in a 5-0 win
• Two multi-RBI games (Feb. 15 v. Lafayette and  Mar. 6 v. New Mexico State)
• 2017-18 NFCA Academic All-American (3.50 or better GPA)
• 2017-18 Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List (3.50 or better GPA)

High School

• Taylor Sweigart played at Brandywine Heights High School
• She played both first and second base
• She was a two-time First Team All-State performer
• She hit .592 her senior season with 42 hits, 45 runs scored, 44 RBI and 15 stolen bases as the Bullets ended the season with a 24-3 record and a BCIAA and District 3 championship
• She actually hit over .500 three seasons and concluded her career with 130 hits, 133 runs scored, 118 RBI and 42 stolen bases. Brandywine went 78-16 during her four seasons with two BCIAA Titles.
