2011 Track & Field: Finished the season ranked third in the Big South in the discus and ninth in the shot put... Threw a season best 156[apos]6' (47.70m) in the discus at the Battle of the Beaches... Posted a season best mark of 48[apos]0.75' (14.65m) at the Chanticleer Classic... Competed in the hammer and the javelin, recording season best with throws of 145[apos]2' (44.24m) and 156[apos]2' (47.61m) respectfully.
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Regional champion in the discus as a sophomore through senior and regional champion in shot put as a junior and senior at Chesterfield High School... South Carolina state champion in discus as both a junior and senior... Named to the All-State team as a sophomore and junior... Upperstate champion in both shot put and discus as a junior... As a junior, helped lead the Rams to a state football championship as a defensive end.
