High School

• A three-star recruit at tight end by 247Sports and Rivals
• Ranked as high as the 70th-best tight end in the state of Texas for the Class of 2020
• Lined up at tight end and defensive end  for head coach George Teague at John Paul II High School
• Named to the 2019 TAPPS All-State and All-District first teams at tight end his senior season
• Helped lead his high school team to a 10-4 record and a runner-up state finish in the 2019 TAPPS state championship playoffs
• Finished his senior season with 48 catches for 673 yards and six touchdowns
• Recorded a total of 112 receptions for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final three high school seasons
• Also lettered in basketball for two seasons
• Led his basketball team to a 40-1 record, a TAPPS state championship, the first in the varsity boys basketball history, a regional championship, and district championship his senior season
• Totaled six blocks in the championship game as the Cardinals defeated the defending champions Antonian Apaches
• Originally signed with Garden City Community College
