2019 (Sophomore): Played in 44, started 41 games at catcher. . . Hit a career-high .225 in 92 at-bats. . . Tied her career-high with five home runs and four doubles. . . Hit a homer in her first game of the season versus #8 Tennessee, duplicating her freshman season.
2018 (Freshman): Hit .205 with five home runs and 16 RBI. . . Had a season-high two hits twice; February 15 versus Lafayette and March 25 versus UTA. . . Hit first career home and hit on February 9 versus Iowa State as she hit a grand slam in the 9-0 win. . . Tallied two four RBI games; Iowa State on February 9 and Lafayette February 15.
Paul VI High School: Sack has averaged above .500 in her last three season at Paul VI High School. Last season, she averaged .558 at the plate recording 24 hits and five doubles. In her sophomore season, Sack batted .575 with 46 hits, 13 doubles, and eight home runs -- all career highs. As a freshman, she had 41 hits which included 11 doubles and five homers to give her a .554 average at the plate. Sack has been a member of the National Honor Society the past two years.
"We always love having strong and powerful catchers in our lineup," Green said. "Sam fits right into that role. She is a powerful lefty hitter that does an outstanding job behind the plate. With her offensive weapons, we expect Sam to be a steady fixture in our lineup."
