- Also had one solo tackle in the road win at Campbell (Sept. 12) and in the road loss at Troy (Sept. 29)
- Returned a short kickoff for eight yards versus Campbell

- Named the team’s Chant Squad Special Teams MVP three times - UAB, Idaho and Georgia Southern games
- Received Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll recognition for posting at least a 3.0 GPA for the 2017-18 academic year

- Selected to play in the South Carolina North-South All-Star Game
- Intercepted a pass with 1:03 remaining in the game to help the North seal a 21-14 win
- Named to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal All-Area team as well as being tabbed All-Region III-5A
- Led the team in tackles with 70 and in tackles-for-loss with 12 from his middle linebacker position
- Also had 4.5 sacks and two interceptions to go along with a fumble recovery and six blocked punts, including four in a game versus Union County
- Picked off a pass to help Gaffney upset Northwestern in the first round of the 5A playoffs
- Was his school’s nominee for the South Carolina Wendy’s High School Heisman award
