• Saw action in four games, primarily on special teams
• Totaled six tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and one quarterback hurry on the season
• Had four tackles and 0.5 tackle-for-loss in the road win at UMass (Sept. 21)
• Picked up two tackles, 1.0 tackle-for-loss, and a quarterback hurry in the season finale versus Texas State (Nov. 30)
• Also played in games versus Louisiana (Nov. 7) and at ULM (Nov. 23)
• Transitioned from safety to linebacker in the new 3-4 defensive scheme in the spring

2018 (Freshman)

• Redshirted
• Moved from quarterback to safety in the preseason
• Did not see any game action

High School

• Posted a 20-6 overall high school record
• Threw for 2,840 yards and 25 touchdowns for his high school career
• Led Newberry High School to a 10-2 record as a senior
• Completed 61-of-112 passes for 968 yards and eight touchdowns his senior year
• Led the team to a region championship as a junior
• Was inducted into National Beta Club
