• Named the Southside High School Model Athlete of the Year his senior season
• Saw time at wide receiver and defensive back
• Played in just two games his senior season before suffering an injury that cost him the rest of the year
• Had over 180 receiving yards and one touchdown before the injury
• Helped to lead Southside to a 9-4 record and advance to the third round of the Class AAA playoffs as a junior in 2018
• A finalist for the Bridge Builder Excellence Award presented by South Carolina Football Hall of Fame
• Was a high school teammate of fellow Chanticleer Braydon Bennett
