Coastal Carolina cross country teams seek to qualify for NCAA Championships
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by the University of Louisville on Friday, Nov. 12. The meet will take place at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park with a noon ET start time.
The women's 6k event will begin at noon ET while the men's 10k race will start at approximately 1 p.m. ET.
In the last outing, the Chanticleers women's team was led by Molly Jones while the men's team was paced by Garrett Bivens, as the duo were the top finishers for CCU at the 2021 Sun Belt Championships.
Joining Bivens, for the men's race, will be Kaden Buchler, Jack Benoit, Gage Nielsen, Cory Fleeman, Monroe Thompkins, and Michael Welsh Jr., while Ashley Rulison, Ashley Dalleske, Jessica Martin, Meagan Moreno, and Isabelle Gulick will join Jones in the women's race.
