CONWAY, S.C. - For the second time in as many days, Coastal Carolina took down Old Dominion in straight sets (25-17, 27-25, 25-21) at the HTC Center on Saturday, recording its 20th consecutive home win over a Sun Belt Conference East Division opponent.

The Chanticleers improved to 11-4 overall and 4-0 in the Sun Belt, while the Monarchs dropped to 3-12 and 0-4 in conference.

CCU junior
Jalyn Stout recorded her 42nd career triple-double with 13 kills, 16 assists, and 13 digs.
Ava Wallis posted a double-double handing out a team-high 18 assists with 11 digs.
Bailee Earnhardt collected a team-best 15 digs, and
Anna Rita posted five blocks.

Bryanna Jones led ODU with 11 kills, Kyra Hampton distributed a match-high 29 assists, and Adrienne Peji registered 16 digs.Â
QUICK SET SYNOPSISÂ
•
Set One: The Chanticleers ended the opening frame on a 5-0 run, forcing three Monarch hitting errors while Wallis had an ace and Stout a kill. Stout had six kills on 12 attempts in the set, and Wallis gave out six assists.Â

Set Two: ODU served for match-point leading 24-22, but Stout put away Wallis' set and Earnhardt aced the Monarchs to tie the set at 24-all. Jones put the Monarchs back on top 25-24, but Fowler's attack tied the match, and Stout's service ace put CCU in front.
Emma Van Elslande then ended the frame with a kill off Stout's set.Â

 Set Three: Coastal scored the first four points of the final frame and built a seven-point lead, 9-2. The Chants' lead shrank to one, 17-16, but they scored five straight points to push it back to six, 22-16, and held on for a four-point win.Â

NOTES & STATSÂ
• The Chanticleers are off to a 4-0 start in Sun Belt play for the seventh time in 10 years as a conference member.
• Coastal Carolina improved to 5-3 all-time against Old Dominion with a 4-0 record at the HTC Center.Â
• The Chanticleers have won three of their first four Sun Belt Conference matches in straight sets.Â
• Stout recorded three service aces for the second time this season. She also had three against FIU.Â
• Wallis recorded her 500th career assist as a member of the Chanticleers (509). Including her freshman season, she has 585 career helpers.Â

Anna Rita posted her 10th match of the season with at least five total blocks. She had one solo block and four block assists against ODU.Â
