CONWAY, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team opens the 2026 season Aug. 13, hosting Charleston Southern at the CCU Soccer Complex.
- The Chanticleers will look to improve upon their 3-5-8 overall record and 0-2-8 mark in Sun Belt Conference play from the 2025 season.
- Coastal was picked to finish 11th in the Sun Belt Conference preseason coaches' poll.
- The Chants finished 10th in the Sun Belt standings last season.
- Coastal posted four shutouts during the 2025 campaign.
- The Chanticleers recorded an NCAA-leading seven-match tying streak from Sept. 21 to Oct. 24, breaking the Sun Belt Conference record for most ties in league play.
- The 2026 schedule features 19 regular-season matches, including 10 contests at home at the CCU Soccer Complex.
- Coastal will look to build on a 1-0 exhibition victory over Tennessee Tech.
- The Chants return nine players from the 2025 roster and welcome 17 newcomers to the 2026 squad.
- The 2026 roster features nine freshmen, two sophomores, five juniors, and one graduate student among the newcomers.
- Returning players include leading scorer Tamlyn Parkes, who led the Chants with four goals during the 2025 season.
- Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna entered Coastal's all-time record book during her freshman season in 2025, ranking sixth in program history for fewest goals allowed in a season with 18 and tying for seventh with a 1.13 goals-against average.
- The 2026 roster features 26 student-athletes representing six countries: the United States (19), Canada (3), Norway (2), England (1), and Germany (1).
- The 19 U.S. players represent 12 different states: Alabama (1), California (4), Florida (1), Georgia (2), Indiana (1), Kansas (2), New Jersey (2), North Carolina (1), Ohio (1), Oklahoma (1), Pennsylvania (2), and South Carolina (1).
- Coastal enters the 2026 season under the direction of Pete Cuadrado, who was named the sixth head coach in program history in April 2026.
- Cuadrado enters his 23rd season as a collegiate head coach with a 194-167-57 career record.
- Prior to Coastal Carolina, Cuadrado served as the head coach at Tarleton State from 2021-25, Wyoming from 2012-20, and North Dakota State from 2003-11.
- The Chants added Rex Carrell as associate head coach. Carrell spent four seasons on Cuadrado's staff at Tarleton State.
- Olivia Stutzman joins the coaching staff after playing NCAA Division I soccer at Wyoming and Colorado State. She also spent a semester coaching at Tarleton State.
- Vanessa Phillips Bosshart joins the staff as the goalkeeper coach after working with the U.S. Youth National Teams along with coaching at the collegiate level with Murray State, Arkansas, and North Florida.
- Coastal's seven-match tying streak from September through October 2025 was the longest such streak in the NCAA during the season.
- The Chants will open their regular season against Charleston Southern on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at the CCU Soccer Complex.
